Electrical Engineer

SMart4EPC is currently recruiting for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our client on a high-profile commercial development in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a fast-paced, technically challenging project, contributing to the delivery of innovative and high-quality electrical solutions.

Your Day-to-Day Will Include:

1. Preparing method statements and risk assessments in collaboration with the construction team
2. Supporting front-end studies including capital cost estimates, schedules, and material take-offs
3. Preparing technical and contract documentation for tender and evaluating returned bids
4. Managing and updating delivery schedules to track and control site logistics
5. Raising RFIs (Requests for Information) to resolve design queries with the Design Team
6. Monitoring project progress and producing regular reports
7. Creating short-term 'look ahead' programmes to assist with planning and production
8. Carrying out quality control inspections and snagging to ensure high installation standards
9. Managing document control, including recording and transmitting technical information
10. Performing additional tasks as assigned by your manager

What We're Looking For:

1. Strong technical knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices
2. Understanding of commercial construction project lifecycles
3. Familiarity with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures and compliance
4. Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of project costs and procurement
5. Ability to prioritise workloads and manage deadlines effectively
6. Self-aware, with a commitment to continuous personal and professional development
7. Proactive, accountable, and a team player with good communication skills
