Job summary

A leading global business is seeking an Electrical Assembly Technician to join their team in Telford. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling complex electrical systems and equipment based on detailed engineering drawings. This role provides opportunities for international travel and offers a competitive salary package, with potential earnings up to £45k per annum. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in electrical assembly, strong fault-finding skills, and familiarity with electrical manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in electrical equipment assembly or machine building.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Good understanding of electrical manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to carry out manual handling tasks in line with health and safety guidelines.
  • Previous experience in a practical hands-on role such as Assembly Fitter, Electrical Fitter, Workshop Technician, or Installation Technician.

Electrical Assembly Technician

Location: Telford

Duration: Permanent

Salary: Up to £32k per annum basic + OT/Travel (potential earnings up to £45k per annum)

Hours: Monday – Friday 40 hours per week (early finish Friday)

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Assembly Technician to join a leading global business. The role involves assembling complex systems and equipment from detailed engineering drawings and provides international travel opportunities.

  • Assemble and build electrical systems and equipment.
  • Fault find and diagnose equipment issues.
  • Install equipment and systems at customer locations worldwide.
  • Work from detailed engineering and technical drawings.

  • Ability to carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting and climbing, in line with health and safety guidelines.
  • Previous experience in a practical hands‑on role such as Assembly Fitter / Electrical Fitter / Workshop Technician / Installation Technician.
