Job summary

A leading education and training provider is looking for an Apprenticeship Skills Tutor in Electrical disciplines to develop future engineers. This full-time, permanent role at North Notts College involves coaching and assessing apprentices while maintaining accurate records. Candidates should possess a relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification, a teaching qualification or willingness to obtain, and excellent IT skills. Qualifications

  • Experience of planning, delivering and assessing apprenticeships in Electrical Apprenticeship Standards.
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification or higher required.
  • Ability to build good relationships with apprentices and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Coaching, assessing and supporting apprentices on electrical courses.
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress.
  • Carrying out on-site performance reviews and assessments.

Skills

Experience in planning, delivering and assessing apprenticeships
Excellent IT skills
Ability to manage a caseload of apprentices
Good communication skills

Education

Relevant industry NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent)
A1/V1/CAVA Assessors Award (or equivalent)
Teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain)
Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths
