Electric Vehicle Diagnostic Technician — Lutterworth

£42K p/a plus OT • Hours: 47.5 per week, two shifts

Overview

We're looking for an experienced Diagnostic Technician to join a Prep Centre in Lutterworth. You'll be working with over 1,600 vehicles each month, helping to prepare them for our growing network of stores.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair faults across multiple vehicle makes and models
  • Handle complex electrical and mechanical issues
  • Carry out software updates, calibrations, and reprogramming
  • Support colleagues with technical expertise
  • Ensure all vehicles meet quality standards before sale
  • Keep accurate service and diagnostic records
Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
  • Strong diagnostic skills, with multi-brand experience
  • Confident using fault codes, wiring diagrams, and technical data
  • Background in a fast-paced workshop environment
  • High attention to detail and pride in your work
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
