The Role

As a health and safety manager, you will coordinate and implement the company's commitment to provide a safe and healthy working environment free of environmental incidents for all employees.

On a day-to-day basis you will:
  • Produce and maintain a health and safety management policy and ensure it is communicated to all employees.
  • Address improvements identified by internal and external health and safety audits and assessments.
  • Facilitate near miss, injury/ illness root cause investigations, medical case management and claims for work related illnesses and injuries as the subject matter expert.
  • Drive employee engagement in workplace and workforce safety and health through education, coaching and recognition.
  • Manage, maintain, and improve EHS management systems documentation, communication, and record retention.
  • Maintain and continuously improve compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
Interested?

To succeed you will have previous Health and safety experience within a manufacturing industry. A successful candidate will have strong communication, interpersonal and organisation skills and previous experience communicating essential EHS information to a range of stakeholders. A knowledge of EHS management systems to both ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 is advantageous. The successful candidate will hold a recognised environmental qualification and will understand health and safety regulations.
