BBI exists to help our customers create advances that improve health and save lives. We are seeking an EHS Advisor to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position based at our site in Crumlin. Join our team: advancing health, together.


The Role


In this role your responsibilities will include:

  • Implement and maintain the Global EHS Program at a site level
  • Provide advice on EHS to sites which do not have a designated EHS head
  • Seek opportunities to continually improve EHS policies, procedures and best practice.
  • Proactively manage EHS projects in relation to the site.
  • Contribute and implement key learnings from the global EHS team at site level
  • Co-ordinate waste on site in line with site and global procedures
  • Take the lead to ensure legislative and regulatory compliance and improve EHS standards in cooperation with the site Management team at site.
  • Site lead for EHS
  • Work with Site Management team to deliver on our HSE goals and objectives at site level
  • Support with interactions with EHS regulatory agencies, such as NRW (National Resources Wales - environmental protection agency) and HSE (Health & Safety Executive) on all EHS matters.
  • To prioritise, co-ordinate and facilitate teams to implement continual improvements in EHS.
  • Complete an annual programme of EHS audits on site to ensure continued legislative compliance and Global EHS requirements. Report and action as necessary in a timely manner while empowering closeout within departments
  • Measure, monitor and report on performance metrics weekly. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all Environmental, Health and Safety related matters, which can then be used for internal performance monitoring, external auditing and for inclusion in internal and external reporting.
