Job summary

An established industry player in the culinary field is seeking flexible Relief Chefs to work in care homes across Falkirk and surrounding areas. This role offers the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills from Sous Chef to Head Chef levels in a variety of fast-paced kitchen environments. With plenty of year-round work available, you will need to have a current Food Safety Certificate and a PVG check. Qualifications

Job description

Care Homes in Falkirk and the surrounding areas are seeking Relief Chefs.

Flexible chefs who are able to work in a variety of properties sometimes at short notice. You may be working from Chef de Partie to Head Chef level, depending on your skills and the requirement of the property you will be working at.

Our care home contracts require Temp Chefs to have PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) checks in order to work in their kitchens. There is plenty of year-round work available with these.

Requirements:

1. Chefs who have worked to at least Sous Chef level with excellent all-round cooking skills capable of jumping on any section and used to working in fast-paced kitchens with all fresh produce.
2. All chefs must have or be willing to apply for a PVG and a current Food Safety Certificate.
3. It is not essential to have your own transport but it is advantageous.
