Job summary

A recruitment agency is looking for a Lab Technician in Andover. The ideal candidate will have a science-related qualification at level 3 or above, demonstrate a good knowledge of scientific equipment, and have relevant work experience. Qualifications

• Experience in a similar technical support role in an educational setting.
• Willingness to undertake training related to the position.
• Understanding of COSHH regulations for chemical handling.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Science subject areas.
• Maintain and repair scientific equipment as required.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of college resources.

Skills

Good working knowledge of Scientific equipment

Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and/or Apple MAC

Awareness of health & safety requirements
