Qualifications

  • Experience in ecological consultancy or a related field.
  • Knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and ecological survey methodologies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake a range of ecological field surveys, including protected species surveys.
  • Support the preparation of technical reports (PEA, EcIA, mitigation strategies).
  • Contribute to biodiversity net gain assessments and habitat management plans.
  • Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to advise on ecological constraints.
  • Assist with project delivery from concept through to construction.

Skills

Experience in ecological consultancy or a related field
Knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and ecological survey methodologies
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Protected species licence(s) desirable
Full UK driving licence
