About us

As part of the Busy Bees Aotearoa whānau, you’ll be supported by a national network while working in a centre that blends neuroscience with holistic, relationship-based practice. Our five homely rooms empower tamariki to construct their own learning through listening, exploration, and inquiry, within a culture grounded in love and attachment.
About you
You are a fully registered ECE or primary-trained kaiako with a passion for inquiry-based learning and leadership. As a relational leader, you coach with kindness and clarity, supporting your team to innovate and grow. You bring strong knowledge of Te Whāriki and confidence in mentoring others to prepare tamariki for kura through social engagement, emotional resilience, and nature-based exploration.
The mahi
As preschool team leader, you provide pedagogical guidance during critical developmental years. You will lead curriculum planning that balances literacy and numeracy with child-led inquiry, model high-quality practice, and maintain strong standards of documentation and care while fostering a collaborative, creative team culture.
