An established industry player is seeking a passionate Junior Sous Chef to join their dynamic team at a modern country hotel in the picturesque Lake District. In this role of Junior Sous Chef, you will be working for an expanding company at an award-winning, modern country hotel located in the stunning Lake District. The relaxed brasserie-style restaurant offers seasonally changing fresh food dishes, while the bar offers all-day dining with a menu that features a range of dishes including small plates, sandwiches, pub classics, and more modern dishes with the chefs working to one AA Rosette standard. In this role, you will be working as part of the 12-strong brigade to help keep the standards expected from this high-quality hotel. This Junior Sous Chef role will give you the opportunity to learn new skills in order to progress into a Sous Chef role, including attending HOD meetings, carrying out ordering, and creating dishes for the menus.
Requirements:
All chefs applying for this role must have fresh food experience ideally from a high-quality 1 or 2 rosette standard background where you were working across all food dining outlets. CVs will be considered from Junior Sous Chefs or Senior Chef de Partie who are seeking a role where they can develop their career further while working in a busy, fresh food environment.
