The ideal candidates will have an ONC in a relevant discipline and strong skills in AutoCAD and electrical services design. Qualifications

• Minimum ONC in a relevant discipline.
• Experience with Radiometric Systems is desirable.
• Knowledge of BS 61508 compliance preferred.

Overview

EC&I Designers (6-12 months)

Certain Advantage are recruiting on behalf of our established Engineering client for a number of EC&I Designers on a contract basis to support important Nuclear projects in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Engage with the Integrated Design, facility and project teams and collaborate throughout the project lifecycle in all phases, offering expertise in EC&I design (electrical services design and CE&I instrumentation & Security systems design).
• Work in a team environment with strong communication to be an effective team player.
• Provide strong proficiency in AutoCAD and CE&I project delivery with experience covering:
  • Building electrical services design (lighting, small power)
  • Instrumentation and Security Systems design
  • CDM and IET wiring regulations
  • Space management and cable routing

Qualifications

• Suitable candidates are expected to hold a minimum ONC in a relevant discipline
• Experience in the following areas is highly desirable (please highlight in your CV):
  • Radiometric Systems
  • BS 61508 compliance
  • Autodesk Revit, AVIVA, CIMAGE/DM Desktop
