Early Years Teaching Assistant Wallsend
Salary: £444.60 £475 per week
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 AM 3:30 PM

Are you passionate about shaping the very first steps of a child s education? A welcoming primary school in Wallsend is looking for an enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA) to join their team.

This role is ideal for someone who loves play-based learning, can support children with additional needs, and wants to make a real difference in the classroom.

Responsibilities
  • Support engaging, play-based learning activities in the EYFS classroom
  • Work with teachers to create a safe, positive, and supportive environment
  • Provide additional support for pupils with SEND, helping them thrive
  • Assist in preparing resources and delivering group and one-to-one activities
  • Be a caring, reliable role model for children during these crucial years
Qualifications
  • Must hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Experience supporting early years or primary-aged children
  • Confidence working with pupils with SEND
