Reeson Education is looking for warm, reliable and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistants to join our flexible supply pool supporting nurseries and primary school EYFS settings across Waltham Forest. This is a great opportunity for an Early Years Teaching Assistant who wants to work flexibly while gaining strong experience across a range of early years environments.

Schools and nurseries in Walthamstow, Leyton, Leytonstone and Chingford frequently request Early Years Teaching Assistants to support children aged 2-5 with early learning, communication skills, social development, sensory play and early phonics. As a supply Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will experience a variety of settings while ensuring young learners receive consistent, nurturing support.

Early Years Teaching Assistant - Key Information

Early Years Teaching Assistant - Responsibilities

• Supporting EYFS children through structured and play‑based learning
• Assisting with early phonics, early maths and communication development
• Helping children develop independence, confidence and positive social skills
• Maintaining a safe and engaging EYFS environment
• Adapting quickly to different schools, classrooms and routines
• Providing SEN support where needed, including autism, speech delays or social communication needs
