Job summary

A childcare organization in the United Kingdom is seeking a Room Leader for Twilight sessions. Candidates must have a Level 3 Early Years qualification and experience in a lead role. Job description

The Beehive Childcare Group is a long-established setting, running from Kinchen Hall on Colman Road in Norwich. We have two inviting rooms and a large outdoor space that we love to spend time in every day. We cater for children aged 2 to 4 years old, and we are open from 7.45am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. We pride ourselves on being a nurturing and inclusive setting, and we are looking to recruit a Room Leader for our Twilight sessions, to join our busy team. This is a permanent, term time vacancy but with the option to add Holiday Club hours.

Qualifications and Experience
  • A full and relevant level 3 Early Years qualification
  • English and maths GCSE or equivalent
  • A working knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
  • Experience of being a key person and keeping electronic Learning Journeys
  • Experience of planning and working in a lead role
  • Knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding Children and Child Protection
  • Be willing to undertake any training that is required to continue professional development
  • Ability to use their own initiative, as well as follow instructions
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team

The hourly starting wage will be £12.70.

Working Hours
  • Monday: 14.45 - 18.15
  • Tuesday: 14.45 - 18.15
  • Wednesday: 14.45 - 18.15
  • Thursday: 14.45 - 18.15
  • Friday: 14.45 - 18.15

The successful candidate will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check, and must provide two satisfactory references prior to starting.

Start date: 1st December 2025 or as near as possible to this date.
