Overview

Early Years Practitioners to start October 2025

We are currently recruiting Early Years Practitioners to join our friendly Nursery team providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children, from 6 months to 4 years of age.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day tasks include working in partnership with parents, carers, and professionals to promote the well-being of the children, implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, and assisting with creative displays within the Nursery.

Qualifications and Experience

You will have experience of working within a similar setting and be able to provide a fun and stimulating learning environment. You will have a childcare qualification, ideally NVQ 2 or 3 qualified and know the EYFS curriculum. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative are essential. A knowledge of the independent school sector would be an advantage but is not essential.

Benefits and Details

Salary: Salary discussed at interview

Hours: Full time or Part time, working Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.30am 6.00pm varying shifts, on an all-year contract. Maternity cover role for one-year, full time, all-year round.

Holidays: 5.6 weeks paid holiday (inclusive of the usual statutory holidays)

Pension: Nest Pension Scheme
