Early Years Practitioner

Seeking a Early Years Practitioner for this "Term Time Only" position, we will provide 12 weeks paid holidays and excellent further training and career progression opportunities.

This permanent role would suit someone with either a BA Degree in Early Years Education from a UK or overseas university, or CACHE/NVQ/BTEC Level 2 or 3 in childcare.

Or someone with QTS (qualified teaching status) or a Montessori Teaching Qualification and is passionate about working with children.

Job Description
  • Planning and implementing creative and learning activities in line with EYFS for children, ensuring their safety and well‑being at all times.
  • Playing games with children.
  • Carrying out observations of children.
  • Assisting on trips to places of interest with children such as nature and forest walks and theatre trips.
  • Interacting with parents and updating them on the child’s progress.
