Nursery Practitioner Wanted - School Nursery in Walker, Newcastle

Are you a caring and flexible Nursery Practitioner looking to work in a nurturing school nursery environment in Walker, Newcastle?

We're looking for a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our supply team and provide high-quality support to a school-based nursery setting. This is a great opportunity to be part of a structured, welcoming, and child-focused learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting children's learning and development in line with the EYFS

  • Working closely with teachers and nursery staff within the school

  • Creating a calm, engaging, and safe environment for all children

  • Following school safeguarding procedures and routines

  • Encouraging positive behaviour and development through play and interaction

Qualifications
  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent)

  • Experience in a nursery or early years school setting

  • Good understanding of EYFS and safeguarding policies

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)

  • Professional, friendly, and adaptable approach

  • Paediatric First Aid required but not essential
