We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join a friendly nursery team. This temporary position is an exciting opportunity to nurture young children’s development and create a safe, stimulating environment where every child can thrive. Starting as soon as possible.

Duties as Early Years Practitioner:
  • Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play.

  • Monitor and record each child’s progress, sharing observations with colleagues and parents/carers.

  • Support children’s personal, social and emotional development, ensuring their individual needs are met.

  • Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming setting, following safeguarding and health & safety policies.

Ideal Early Years Practitioner:
  • Minimum Level 2 or 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification (or equivalent).

  • Experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting.

  • A nurturing, patient approach and excellent communication skills as an Early Years Practitioner.

  • Sound understanding of safeguarding and the EYFS statutory framework.
