Kidzrus The Lodge are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the development and well‑being of children in our care. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage classroom dynamics will be essential in fostering positive relationships with both children and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high‑quality childcare in accordance with early years standards and regulations.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities that support children’s learning and development.
  • Observe and assess children’s progress, maintaining accurate records to track their development.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing updates on children’s progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere where all children feel valued and respected.
  • Manage daily routines, ensuring the safety and well‑being of all children in the nursery.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create an effective team environment, sharing ideas and best practices.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting.
Requirements
  • Level 3 in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential.
  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, particularly in English.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities to effectively manage classroom activities and dynamics.
  • A genuine passion for nurturing children’s development through play‑based learning.
  • Ability to drive may be advantageous for commuting purposes but is not mandatory.
  • A commitment to safeguarding children and promoting their welfare at all times.
