Overview

If you are an experienced hard working Care Assistant living in the NG6 area looking for weekly work, then we have the ideal positions for you. We are looking for committed, compassionate, experienced Care Assistants to work with vulnerable adults with dementia and other age-related conditions, who live in the Nottingham NG6 area. You will be working as part of a friendly team within a residential home in the Nottingham NG6 area, helping support and care vulnerable individuals with their day-to-day activities, encouraging their independence and making a real difference in their lives.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care
• Providing support and emotional wellbeing
• Help with dressing, washing and feeding
• Assisting with the movement and positioning of individuals
• Offering companionship

Qualifications

• Proven experience within a similar care environment
• Checkable work history
• Up-to-date mandatory training documents: Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. If not up to date, online training can be offered (additional fee).
• In-date enhanced DBS check; if your DBS has expired, we can arrange a new one for you.

Hours & Compensation

This is an ongoing opportunity. You will typically work Monday to Friday, starting at 07:00 and finishing at 14:00. You will be paid £12.35 per hour, plus up to 28 accrued holiday pay.
