An independent educational institution in Mile End is searching for an Early Learning Childhood Educator to join their team starting January 2026. Job description

St George College is an Independent, co-educational College educating children from ELC to Year 12.

We are seeking an Early Learning Childhood Educator to join our team commencing January 2026.

Duties
  • Ability to generate positive relationships with individual children, groups of children, team members and families.
  • Ensuring that the Centre’s philosophy, policies and procedures are implemented.
  • Assisting with the implementation of the Early Years Learning Framework and daily routines.
  • Providing a safe and nurturing environment that promotes a sense of belonging and self-worth.
  • Support our high-quality early learning program to meet the individual requirements of all children.
Essential Qualifications
  • Has or working towards Early Learning Childhood qualifications (minimum Diploma level)
  • Current First Aid certificate
  • Current approved Anaphylaxis Management Certificate
  • Current approved Asthma Management Certificate
  • Currently Working with Children Check
  • Current Responding to Abuse & Neglect (education care) certificate

This is a Full-Time 12 month contract with potential to continue into 2027.
