Early Learning and Childcare Assistant

Head of Muir Primary School, Early Learning and Childcare Class is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) Assistant who enjoy working with young children and their families. The successful candidate will assist in the provision of high-quality play and lunchtime experiences within the ELC settings.

The post involves assisting in the delivery of high-quality play and lunchtime experiences within the ELC settings and supporting young children and families as part of a team.

Requirements

You will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.

Details

The post available is for a 16 hour contract and will be Monday to Thursday 11.00 am to 2.00 pm and Friday 10.30 am to 2.30 pm and is term time.

The post is temporary to cover a maternity leave until 26th June 2026 initially. The salary is adjusted accordingly for part time and term time contract.
