Qualifications

• 1 year post registration clinical experience working as a RM in the UK.
• Experience of working in all clinical settings.
• Mentorship experience as a Practice supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for their own midwifery practice maintaining high standards.
• Work effectively as a member of the multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competence in clinical practice.

Skills

Intravenous cannulation

Perineal repair

Emergency resuscitation

IT skills including MS office, Excel and PowerPoint

Ability to apply research to practice

Education

Registered Midwife (NMC)

Educated to degree level

Assessor/mentorship course or full SSSA equivalent
