A local education provider is seeking an Adult ESOL Tutor in York. This part-time role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons for ESOL learners, including refugees, in various city centre venues. The ideal candidate will have a recognised teaching qualification, experience in community education, and excellent interpersonal skills. The position offers an hourly rate between £16.92 and £26.82 and runs until the end of June or early July.

Qualifications

• Recognised teaching qualification, preferably CELTA or CertTESOL.
• Strong interpersonal qualities and excellent administration skills.
• Experience in community education and understanding of literacy challenges.
