We are currently recruiting for a Duty Maintenance Engineer to join the team at The Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa, Edinburgh.
The Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa is one of Scotland's leading 5 star hotels. As the largest 5 star hotel, we also have the biggest banqueting and meeting facilities of any hotel in Edinburgh with a capacity of up to 500 as well as our award winning One Spa and our One Square Restaurant and bar.
The Duty Engineer is responsible for the delivery of 1st fix maintenance as requested throughout the property, planned preventative maintenance schedules, and the undertaking of designated Health & Safety duties across the hotel and spa. In addition our ideal candidate is expected to have knowledge and where necessary assist in all other general FM tasks, as directed by management. You will take part in the Department Duty Engineer shift rota providing 24/7 cover.
We are looking for someone who is energetic and self‑motivated and who is ready to take the next step on your career path. Ideally you will have at least 2 years’ experience within a similar environment. You will be expected to work a mixture of day shift and night shift within this role.
