A local educational institution in Rugeley is seeking a DT Technician for a part-time position. The role involves ensuring a safe and practical learning environment, ordering stock, maintaining safety standards, and providing first aid. Applicants should have experience supporting learning and excellent communication skills. This is a term-time role with actual salary between £5,974 - £6,069 per annum.
DT Technician required from January 2026
Permanent, Part Time – 10 hours per week
Term Time Only for 39 weeks per year; 38 weeks plus 5 INSETs
Salary: Grade 4 - £25,583 – £25,989 per annum pro rata
Actual Salary: £5,974 - £6,069 per annum

Joining this brand-new school, that opened initially with Year 7 in the secondary phase in September 2025, you will work closely with other colleagues to ensure every lesson is optimised for learning, through a safe, clean and practical learning environment. You will take responsibility for ordering stock, maintaining safety standards, undertaking risk assessments and providing first aid.
