We are seeking an ambitious and innovative DT Teacher to join a thriving Design and Technology department in a well-regarded secondary school in Bournemouth. This full-time position will begin in September and involves delivering a broad DT curriculum with a focus on resistant materials, product design, or engineering to students at KS3 and KS4.

The successful DT Teacher will join a passionate team working in a newly refurbished suite of workshops and design studios, equipped with CAD / CAM facilities, 3D printers, laser cutters, and a wide variety of tools and materials. The department is well supported by senior leadership and is committed to providing students with a practical and engaging learning experience that fosters both creativity and technical skill.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Design and Technology or related subject
  • Strong classroom presence with a practical and engaging teaching style
  • Experience teaching DT at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
  • Excellent subject knowledge, particularly in resistant materials and / or product design
  • Legal right to work in the UK
