A healthcare equipment provider is looking for a Driver Technician in Preston. The role involves delivering and collecting wheelchairs, servicing in the field, and maintaining vehicle standards. A full UK driving licence and good communication skills are essential. The candidate should have workshop knowledge and experience in face-to-face customer contact. This position offers an hourly wage of £12.55 with flexible working conditions.

Based at: Preston depot, PR5 – full UK driving licence
39 hours per week
We are currently looking for Field Service Engineers to join the team within our Preston depot and we welcome applications from people who reside here or in the surrounding areas. As a healthcare equipment provider, Ross Care works in partnership with the NHS to supply the necessary equipment and aids to support people in their day-to-day life.
To enable the Company to achieve the agreed contractual standard of service required by completing initial training in the workshop reconditioning wheelchair equipment to gain essential product knowledge. On completion of initial training this will enable you to work out in the field delivering, collecting, repairing, and servicing wheelchairs. The expectation is that once fully trained most jobs will be completed on a first-time fix basis.
