A local government authority in Scotland is seeking a skilled individual to deliver, assemble, and install health and occupational therapy equipment. This role involves providing technical support to service users and participating in repair activities. Candidates will need to comply with the Protection of Vulnerable Groups requirements. This position is fixed term until 28 February 2026.
36 hours per week, 52.14 weeks per year, fixed term until 28 February 2026

To contribute to the independence of service users in their homes by delivering, assembling and installing a range of health and occupational therapy equipment in the Community. Provide technical advice and support to service users and professional staff. Participate in all stores related activities including the repair, refurbishment, P.A.T's, Loler checks and inspections of equipment.
Reporting to Community Equipment Store manager and working with various health professionals, contractors, stores clerical team and Service users.
This post is considered Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act 2007. From 28 February 2011 preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council
