Job summary

A leading environmental services company is seeking a dedicated Class 2 Driver based in Tonbridge. The role involves driving to collection points, managing waste containers, and ensuring compliance with traffic laws. Successful candidates will hold a Class 2 licence, have a current CPC, and a Digi/Tachograph Card. Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid Class 2 (Cat C) driving licence.
  • Current CPC certification required.
  • Possess a valid Digi/Tachograph Card.

Responsibilities

  • Drive to planned collection locations and empty multiple commercial waste containers.
  • Input all information into the onboard system and submit paperwork daily.
  • Complete daily vehicle checks as per the driver operator handbook.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and load weight legislation.

Class 2 Driver

Salary: £43,027.20 per annum plus Veolai benefits

Hours: 48 hours per week, Monday to Friday, mostly 4am starts (some days may start later, so flexibility required)

Location: Tonbridge, Kent, TN9 1PP

What you'll be doing
  • Driving to planned collection locations and moving/emptying multiple commercial waste containers.
  • Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily.
  • Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook.
  • Complying with all traffic laws and legislation, including the weight of loads.
What we’re looking for
  • Class 2 (Cat C) licence
  • Up-to-date CPC
  • Digi/Tachograph Card

Ideally you will have previous waste experience with RORO and Skip.
