  • Salary: £32,900 per annum

  • Hours:37 hours per week, opportunity for Overtime and working weekends.

Your Role
  • Provide a safe and professional transport service to customers, consistently conducting oneself in a manner that upholds the standards and reputation of the company.

  • To operate all vehicles in accordance with the appropriate licence category, both on public roads and during exercises on MoD training sites, in a fully professional manner.

  • Act as a Leading Hand for a designated group of drivers over a specified period or task, and to undertake other duties as directed by line management to support the efficient delivery of the transport service.

  • Correct completion and handling of tachographs on applicable vehicles and download hire and O licence vehicles using the company card.

  • Assist line management with effective tachograph analysis to the driving team and assist other drivers through the sharing of knowledge and previous experience.

What We’re Looking For
  • Qualifications: Hold a current Cat. C, D1 or D Licence with no endorsements. A current Driver CPC Qualification Card and Tachograph card. With evidence of training in current Driver CPC period.

  • Experience: An understanding of military/transport processes, and sound knowledge of Drivers Hours and Tachograph Regulations. Must have a willingness to work occasional nights away.

  • Skills: Effective communicator, flexible, and customer-focused. Team Planner with a win-win mindset, strong work ethic, and willingness to work occasional nights away.

  • Driving Licence: Full UK valid driving licence required.
