Overview

Phoenix Secure Transport is seeking reliable, safety-conscious self-employed Drivers to support SEND home-to-school routes across Northamptonshire. This is term-time, assignment-based work with two daily runs: mornings from 7:00 and afternoons from 14:30. You’ll drive company-provided vehicles, complete pre/post-journey safety checks, maintain cleanliness, and work with a Passenger Assistant to deliver calm, professional journeys. You’ll follow safeguarding, health & safety, risk and incident reporting procedures, and uphold GDPR/data privacy at all times.

Responsibilities

• Drive company-provided vehicles and complete pre/post-journey safety checks.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and work with a Passenger Assistant to deliver calm, professional journeys.
• Follow safeguarding, health & safety, risk and incident reporting procedures, and uphold GDPR/data privacy at all times.

Qualifications

• Essential: Full UK licence with D1, MiDAS, First Aid, Safeguarding, and Enhanced DBS (Children & Adults).
• Desirable: minibus or vulnerable-passenger experience.

Employment details

• This is a contractor role; you invoice for completed assignments and are responsible for your own tax/NI.
