A transportation company located in Wells-Next-the-Sea is seeking a skilled vehicle maintenance technician to ensure all vehicles meet safety standards. Responsibilities include performing maintenance and inspections, troubleshooting issues, and keeping detailed records. Candidates should have a high school diploma, a technical degree in vehicle maintenance, and strong problem-solving skills. Perform necessary maintenance to ensure all commercial motor vehicles and OTR trailers meet the DOT requirements for safe operations on public roadways. Perform annual inspections and install annual inspection sticker(s) on vehicles. Perform all necessary maintenance on yard, facility vehicles and heavy machinery.
