Job description

Here is an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Domestic Housekeeper - Accommodation.

You'll be responsible for the day‑to‑day upkeep of cleanliness in the areas set out in the cleaning schedule, which include all communal areas, residents rooms, vacates, family accommodation, and on‑call accommodation.

The post is part of a team working within an integrated Hotel Services department, offering a high quality, flexible and customer‑focused service.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure duties identified on the cleaning schedule are completed (Ovens, Hobs, Microwaves, Kettles, Toasters, Fridge/freezers).
  • Ensure compliance with Trust policies, procedures and protocols.
  • Comply with C.O.S.H.H regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with all aspects of Health & Safety legislation and the correct use of personal protective equipment.
  • To comply with Directives on Fire Regulations.
  • Vacate cleans which includes rooms, family accommodation and communal areas as per designated vacate form.
  • Walls, doors, door frames, radiators.
  • Mirrors and internal glazing including partitions.
  • Vacuuming/sweeping/mopping/scrubbing/carpet machine of all floor types.
  • Dusting high/low ledges and surfaces.
  • Dispensers i.e. soap, hand towels.
  • Waste bins - emptying and cleaning.
  • Remove and replace curtains as required.
  • Bathroom, Bath, showers, sinks and toilets.
  • Replenishment of soap, handtowels, toilet rolls and sanitizer.
  • Change and make beds.
  • Deliver Post.
  • Monthly test of smoke/carbon monoxide alarms as and when requested.
