A prestigious university in the UK seeks a Domestic Assistant on a part-time, fixed-term basis to maintain high standards of cleanliness in accommodation. Responsibilities encompass servicing bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas, with summer duties including preparing rooms for hotel operations. Grade UE02 - £24,547 per annum (pro-rata)
Accommodation, Catering and Events – Property Team
Part time: 25 hours per week
Position: Fixed Term (12 Months)
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our busy property team. We are looking for positive, enthusiastic and dedicated people with a strong customer focus to help maintain high cleaning & housekeeping standards across our accommodation.
As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our spaces are clean, welcoming, and well‑maintained. During the academic year, your focus will be on servicing bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas. Over the summer (May–September), we operate as a hotel, and your responsibilities will include preparing rooms to hotel standards and managing linen distribution.
These roles require weekend working when required particularly during our peak summer period (May-September). At all times flexibility is essential, as working patterns & locations may change in line with business needs.
