We have a new opportunity for a Domestic Assistant to join the Medirest family. We are seeking dedicated team members to deliver outstanding cleaning services for patients, visitors, and staff at the hospital.

As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in infection control, essential for keeping the hospital operational. Your work helps us provide life-changing medical services. This isn't just any cleaning job; it’s a role that truly makes a difference.

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday: Flexible shifts
• Saturday and Sunday: Mornings

Your responsibilities will include:

1. High and low dusting, mopping, wiping, and scrubbing surfaces.
2. Cleaning wards, side rooms, toilets, showers, infected and public areas.
3. Maintaining and emptying rubbish bins.
4. Ensuring all areas are clean, presentable, and safe, following policies and procedures.
5. Using equipment safely in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
6. Communicating effectively with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.
7. Working under pressure, both independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to meet the hospital's needs.
8. Confidently working in a hospital environment, aware of the potential contact with unwell or distressed patients.

No prior experience as a Domestic Assistant is necessary. We value pride in your work, willingness to learn, and dedication to patient care.
