A public safety organization is seeking a Domestic Abuse Coordinator to support initiatives across York and North Yorkshire. This role involves leading the Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme, ensuring compliance and managing a small team. Salary: £37,020 – £39,276 (SO1)
Contract: Permanent | Full-time
Hours: 37 per week (Monday to Thursday 8am – 4pm, Friday 8am – 3:30pm)

We’re inviting applications for the role of Domestic Abuse Coordinator (DAC) within our Safeguarding Team. This is a strategic role supporting domestic abuse initiatives across York and North Yorkshire.
You’ll lead the Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme (DVDS) portfolio, ensuring statutory compliance and timely responses to Right to Know and Right to Ask applications. Managing a small team, you’ll oversee demand, provide accurate data, and work closely with the wider Domestic Abuse Team and multi‑agency partners to improve outcomes for victims and survivors.
