Owen Reed is looking for a Document Production Technician for a top law firm in London.

Midnight Shift (01 : 00–09 : 00, Monday–Friday) | Initially Home-Based

Owen Reed is recruiting a skilled Document Production Technician to join a high-performing Document Production team working the midnight shift . This role is ideal for someone experienced in producing complex legal or professional documents and who enjoys working outside standard business hours.

The position will be home-based initially , with office arrangements subject to future updates.

Responsibilities
  • Produce and amend lengthy, complex and business-critical documents with speed and accuracy.
  • Format documents in line with strict house style templates.
  • Proofread all output for spelling, grammar, layout and overall consistency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with corrupt or problematic documents.
  • Manage internal and external calls in a professional and helpful manner.
  • Ensure effective and detailed shift handovers.
  • Share best practice, document fixes and technical knowledge with the wider team.
  • Support team needs, including occasional shift adjustments for training or meetings (with notice).
Skills & Experience
  • Strong document production experience within a professional services environment.
  • Fast and accurate typing (minimum 65 wpm , audio and copy typing).
  • Advanced user of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio (2016) .
  • Confident working with scanned and corrupt documents.
  • Experience using PDF Docs, Adobe Pro and DocXTools .
  • MOS Word Expert qualification preferred (additional MOS certifications beneficial).
