Document Controller / Project Administrator

Location: Rickmansworth (Southern Region)

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Start Date: 15th December 2025

Contract Type: Permanent

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Document Controller / Project Administrator to join a leading organisation within the construction and infrastructure sector. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, detail-focused, and confident managing project documentation within a fast‑paced delivery environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Project Delivery Team by maintaining robust document control processes and ensuring efficient workflow across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain all project documentation in line with established document control procedures.
  • Ensure all documents are issued, received, logged, and stored accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to project teams, including filing, correspondence, and data entry.
  • Support project reporting, producing accurate document tracking logs and updates.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure consistent communication and timely information flow.
  • Maintain up-to-date project records, ensuring compliance with company standards and audit requirements.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven experience in a Document Controller or Project Administrator role within construction, engineering, or the built environment.
  • Strong proficiency with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS), ideally including SharePoint.
  • Excellent organisation, communication, and time‑management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy when handling documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a project team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
