This is an opportunity to join a dynamic Project Controls team, working as a Document Controller on some of the UK’s largest Transportation, National Highways, Nuclear, Defence and Infrastructure projects. You will be part of an experienced team that has a significant impact on the successful delivery of these multi‑million‑pound contracts, using state‑of‑the‑art Project Controls tools and techniques that provide concise information to the projects they support in the UK and overseas.

Your Role
  • Establish and maintain document control systems and procedures.
  • Receive, log, track, and distribute incoming and outgoing documents.
  • Ensure documents are filed and archived according to company standards.
  • Maintain version control and ensure only current versions are in circulation.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely submission and approval of documents.
  • Monitor document workflows and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Prepare reports on document status and compliance.
  • Train staff on document control procedures and systems.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive documents.
  • Support audits and inspections by providing required documentation.
  • Perform administrative functions on EDMS systems by assigning user roles and permissions.
About you
  • Proven experience in document control or records management.
  • Good working knowledge of EDMS – Bentley ProjectWise, ALIM Web AssetWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Asite, Business Collaborator, Teamcenter, etc.
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise work and meet target deadlines.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards related to document control.
