A leading audiovisual service provider in Greater London seeks a Technician responsible for setting up and operating audiovisual systems during events. The role involves troubleshooting, maintaining equipment, and ensuring client satisfaction. Candidates should have strong customer service skills and preferably a year of experience in audio visual services. The position requires effective communication and teamwork in dynamic environments, including working irregular hours and potentially at various locations.
A Technician is responsible for the set up and operation of audiovisual systems in a event environment while ensuring complete customer satisfaction. This position reports to a Technical Supervisor, Technical Manager, Senior Project Manager or a Technical Events Manager subject to function and region.

Venue/Event spaces
Work is performed in many different environments with exposure to outdoor temperatures and to dirt, sand and/or dust at times. The working conditions will vary between moderately quiet to noisy volumes. Team members will use high-end audio visual equipment and electrical components, and will be exposed to heights via lifts and ladders. Team members may be asked to work in multiple hotel locations. Working times will include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore.
