A leading health organization in Newport is seeking a qualified accountant to join their Finance Business Partnering Team. The role involves providing financial support to various Directorates, with opportunities for professional development and flexible working arrangements. There is a exciting new opportunity for a qualified accountant to work within the Finance Business Partnering Team that supports the Family & Therapies Division of ABUHB.
The role is based on the Royal Gwent Hospital site, with an opportunity to work in an agile manner across all the Health Board's sites. You will be the Finance lead responsible for several Directorates. We would also consider this as a development opportunity for existing and experienced Finance staff, in line with Annex 21 of the NHS Agenda for Change Terms and Conditions.
Applications via Annex 21 will be accepted for candidates who are on final stages of their professional finance CCAB or CIMA qualification. Payment will be in line withAnnex 21i.e. 70% Band 7 in the first year and 75% Band 7 in the second year, subject to criteria within the development plan being met. Internal Band 6 staff taking up an annex 21 band 7 post would not suffer a detriment to their pay.'
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, qualified accountant to join the Family & Therapies Business Partnering Finance Team within Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.
The Finance Business Partnering teams are responsible for providing high quality financial advice and support to budget holders within the Divisions of the organisation.
The post holder will be required to work closely with budget holders in order to understand and support the service in delivering on their financial and performance obligations.
The post holder will be a fully qualified (CCAB body or CIMA) accountant with excellent communication skills and significant analytical abilities.
The post holder will be required to work across multiple Health Board sites covering a range of Directorates.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role: Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
