Overview

Are you looking to progress your leadership skills and be at the forefront of change? We are seeking a Community Nursing Team Leads to work within the Mid Bedfordshire Locality. You will be a strong leader, focused on achieving real improvements in outcomes for patients and will be confident in your ability to support, coach and develop individuals and teams to deliver consistently high quality services. You will be innovative, forward thinking, self-driven with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will take pride in your work and be highly motivated and dynamic, have a flexible approach and be able to embrace change. Being a collaborative worker and the ability to network and build relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders is essential. You must hold the DNSPQ qualification, or be working towards this.

You will provide day to day operational and line management of community nursing teams, work alongside clinicians to support complex patient reviews and mentor nurse colleagues.

Responsibilities
  • Provide day to day operational and line management of community nursing teams.
  • Work alongside clinicians to support complex patient reviews.
  • Mentor nurse colleagues.
  • Manage two caseloads and the aligned staff, working alongside the existing team lead and service manager to support and manage the delivery of high quality person centered care.
  • Collaborate with the Shefford and Ampthill community nursing teams as relevant to the posts.
Location

One post will be based in Shefford Health Centre, aligned to the Shefford Community Nursing teams; the second in Steppingley Hub aligned to the Ampthill Community nursing teams.

Requirements
  • You must hold the DNSPQ qualification, or be working towards this.
  • Strong leadership, innovative and forward thinking, self-driven with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible approach and the ability to embrace change; ability to network and build relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Must be able to meet the travel requirements of the post.
