An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Community Nurse to work within Community Services, Family Health.
The successful candidates will be expected to support their team, department and organisation to achieve the Trust’s Values in their day-to-day work.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Community Nurse with excellent clinical, communication skills and evidence of caseload management experience, wishing to develop their skills further in a team leadership position.
You should be innovative, enthusiastic and highly motivated with the drive to provide high quality evidenced based care and manage a team of varying skill mix.
You will need to provide strong leadership to your team and to support and participate in the development of new ways of working following the recent service redesign. This will be in addition to embracing working within a multi-disciplinary environment and managing a caseload of patients with complex needs.
As a Senior Community Nurse working in a development role, there is an expectation that within 2 years you will secure a place on a specialist practitioner course to become a qualified District Nurse.
Secondment opportunity is available for internal candidates only.
The ability to transport yourself and equipment across the locality during the course of a normal working day is required for this vacancy.
