Job summary

A leading social housing contractor in North London is seeking a Disrepair Supervisor to oversee Disrepair works. The ideal candidate will have experience in social housing and local authorities, excellent communication skills, and relevant safety certifications (SSSTS/SMSTS/IOSH). This role offers £27/h along with a van and fuel card.

Qualifications

• Experience in overseeing Disrepair works.
• Understanding of Schedule of Rates for Building Works.
• Previous experience in the social housing/local authority sector.

• Ensure commercial controls are in place and adhered to.
• Control commercial aspects of the supply chain.

Build Recruitmentare proud to be representing a leading social housing contractorbased in the London area who are looking for a highly skilled Disrepair Supervisor to join their team. Theyare looking for a Supervisor who is experienced in overseeingDisrepair works.

Responsibilities

• To ensure appropriate commercial controls are in place and adhered to
• Control the commercial aspects of the supply chain gearing maximum leverage and work seamlessly within the business
• Responsible for overseeing some members of the team in DisrepairMaintenance
• Firm Understanding of Schedule of Rates for Building Works
• Previous experience working in the social housing/local authoritysector
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills
• Proactive approach to work
• Proven track record for being reliable and punctual
• Must hold a manualdriving licence

Key Knowledge

• Social Housing, Building Contractor and local authority industry knowledge
• Must hold a SSSTS/SMSTS/IOSH Managing Safely
• IT and Excel Literate
