Job summary

Qualifications

  • Must be qualified to at least British Cycling Level 2.
  • Experience with competence-based qualifications is ideal.
  • Willingness to complete a Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Individual learning plans for riders to enhance performance.
  • Deliver blended learning activities to meet DiSE criteria.
  • Assess rider workbooks against DiSE qualification criteria.
  • Observe riders during training sessions and races.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to athletes.
  • Carry out regular reviews with athletes to monitor progress.
  • Set action plans with coaches/athletes for development.
  • Attend events to observe athletes and conduct assessments.

Skills

British Cycling Level 2 Coaching
Experience with competence-based qualifications
Self-starter
Ability to work independently
Knowledge of British Cycling performance pathway

Education

British Cycling Performance Coach Award (or working towards)
Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA) (Desirable)
