A leading funeral services provider is seeking a Director of Legal & Company Secretary responsible for overseeing legal counsel and governance. This strategic leadership role involves supporting the Board and guiding on regulatory compliance. Director of Legal & Company Secretary – a strategic leadership role at the heart of our mission. You’ll lead the delivery of expert legal counsel and corporate governance across Dignity’s operations, supporting the Board, Executive Directors, and wider Group functions. From commercial contracts and regulatory compliance to data protection and Board support, you’ll ensure our legal frameworks are robust, proportionate, and aligned with our values.
You’ll also serve as Company Secretary, overseeing governance structures, filings, and committee support—helping us maintain clarity, accountability, and trust at every level.
