Overview

Thenue Housing Association provides affordable homes and community services in Glasgow and surrounding areas. The organisation owns over 3,100 homes and operates three subsidiaries: Thenue Trust, Thenue Housing Services Ltd and Thenue Communities. Thenue aims to create better homes and stronger communities through collaboration and service delivery.

Role

Director of Finance, IT and Resources to lead the Finance, IT and People & Culture departments, drive high performance and continuous improvement, and be ultimately responsible for all financially driven outcomes across the group. A manager for each department will report to the Director, who will provide support, direction and leadership while working with the executive team and CEO to uphold Thenue’s values and realise its vision. The Director will ensure effective financial planning, value-for-money and continued delivery of high-quality services and community investment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the Finance, IT and People & Culture functions across the group.
  • Collaborate with the executive team on strategic management, corporate planning and direction.
  • Support investment decisions and financial management to enable high-quality service delivery and community investment.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience at senior management level with the ability to work effectively with the board and executive team.
  • Track record of driving innovation and performance improvements; strong business and financial planning capabilities.
  • Experience of investment appraisals and working with lenders is essential.
  • Applicants need not have worked within an RSL previously but must evidence transferability within the application.
