Due to the ongoing success and growth of the business, we have an excellent opportunity for a Director of Delivery – EV Charging Infrastructure to join our team.
This person will be accountable for leading the delivery of EV charging infrastructure projects, ensuring reliable, on‑time, and on‑budget execution while developing best‑in‑class processes and systems across project management, HSE, procurement, and leadership.
As the Director of Delivery you will oversee established markets (UK, Australia, USand Belgium) and provide global strategic leadership to support business scaling in all new EV markets. You will work in close collaboration with the wider business to ensure seamless, end‑to‑end project execution, oversee the construction process of all projects (HV and LV), and lead the engineering design phase for our installations and assets across fleet and public charging infrastructure.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced projectleader to play a key management role within the organisation, working closely with the COO to drive the successful delivery of major EV charging infrastructure projects that will accelerate the energy transition.
Work as part of the senior management team, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.
Effectively manage, motivate, and develop a growing team of Project Managers, Construction Managers, and Engineers across the UK, US, Australia, and Belgium.
Provide strategic leadership for business expansion into new EV markets, ensuring knowledge transfer, process optimisation, regional delivery strategies, and efficient delivery structures.
Develop and implement a culture, processes, and policies that define best practices in EV charging infrastructure project delivery, efficiency and scalability.
Collaborate with Procurement, Asset Management, Product, Finance, and Business Development teams to support business growth and seamless project execution.
Set functional goals and strategies, including 100-day plans, operating models, and long‑term growth strategies for global EV project delivery.
Accountable for all EV project delivery reporting to company board level.
Take overall responsibility for the transition from business development to operations through successful, reliable project execution :
Ensure quality assurance and continuous improvement in project delivery.
Ensure application of robust contractor selection and onboarding processes.
Manage post-project reviews to integrate lessons learned into future project planning and execution.
Maintain full accountability for project budgets, change, schedule and resource.
Identify, mitigate, and communicate risks proactively to executives.
Develop and enforce adherence to processes, systems, policies, and reporting frameworks.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
Manage clear handovers between sales, delivery, and operations teams to maintain efficiency and accountability.
